To learn programming in VR I have created Flibe. A first-person Pinball-like VR-Game. In Flibe you get put into a level with one or two bats in your hand/s. Your aim is to reach your highest score, by striking a ball into the various objects in the level. Some of them will result in special events.
Developing in VR put me into problems I had never thought of. Getting the interactions of the player with the environemnt right was probably the biggest of those. But designing a proper UI didn't play a small role. In order to give the player all the information needed to play the game, it needed to be displayed at all tiems, while no obscuring the vision or placing it directly infront of the camera.
